Hot New products Added To Hotswap

New products have been added to the Bay of Plenty Regional Council's Hot Swap scheme.

We now have three retailers offering insert wetback fires under the scheme; Rotorua Heating Solutions, Steve's Plumbing and The Fireman.

The new products include:

NOTE: Price is for a 'standard installation' which includes costs associated with the home assessment, supply and installation including, but not limited to, building consents, modifications, associated accessories, compliance certification and the removal of the existing solid fuel burner.

All plumbing costs associated with the disconnection and reconnection of wetbacks must be paid by the homeowner. They cannot be included under a Hot Swap loan. A Hot Swap loan maximum amount is $4,600 inclusive GST. A homeowner must pay any costs above this amount.
